Some of Whole Foods top-selling foods will be cut as well.
Along with dropping food prices overall, Amazon and Whole Foods have announced their new holiday deal: lowering prices on holiday essentials, including discounted turkeys. This means that one can expect Amazon in continuing to cut down prices at the Whole Foods to $3.49 per pound and for organic and non-antibiotic varieties to $2.49 per pound. It would seem Amazon is ready to honor that promise. "We'll continue to work closely together to ensure we're consistently surprising and delighting our customers while moving toward our goal of reaching more people with Whole Foods Market's high-quality, natural, and organic food". Amazon unveiled a preview of its rewards program for the grocery chain, which will slash prices on all of the dinner-time necessities this season for AmazonPrime members.
Amazon and Whole Foods said starting today they have reduced prices of many other popular items, including: value packs of boneless skinless chicken breasts, raw peeled shrimp, broccoli, salad mixes, russet potatoes and sweet potatoes. While Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals are expected to be incredible this shopping season, Amazon is also bringing great deals to Whole Foods.

It's the most wonderful, food-filled, bonkers time of year.
Other products getting price cuts include national-brand products such as organic rice from Lundberg Family Farms, organic beans from Eden Foods, organic chicken and vegetable broths from Pacific Foods, organic eggs and milk from Organic Valley, and toothpaste from Tom's of Maine. Members of Amazon Prime will save an additional 50 cents per pound on both varieties, the company said in a release. Presumably, when the two companies' systems are integrated, a physical coupon will no longer be required. If you're an avid Whole Foods shopper, it may be a good idea to head to the nearest store location to you and check out some of these great deals. In that case, customers are advised to look for the turkeys marked with an orange stripe that says "Special Savings".
